John Suchet OBE is a distinguished British journalist turned classical music broadcaster and author. After a long career as a newsreader for ITN, he repositioned into the world of music, hosting programs on Classic FM and becoming a recognized Beethoven expert. 

His latest work, In Search of Beethoven: A Personal Journey, blends biography, memoir and travelogue, to reveal how the composer’s life and music have intertwined with Suchet’s own journey. Known also for Beethoven: The Man Revealed (updated edition included), he brings meticulous scholarship and personal passion to his interpretations of classical music history.
