John takes us behind the camera. He tells us of the dangers, and the thrill, of reporting from some of the world’s worst trouble spots. He has interviews Presidents, Prime Ministers, Oscar-winning actors, Olympic gold medalists, billionaires, down and outs, the unemployed, and a prisoner on death row in Florida. He then presented News at Ten, and the whole range of ITN bulletins. You will gasp at some of his hair-raising stories, and laugh at the pitfalls and calamities of live TV news.
