Manni Coe’s Little Ruins: Rebuilding a Life follows the journey of Coe, his partner Jack, and his youngest brother Reuben as they take a bold step—buying and restoring a crumbling 150-year-old farmstead (“The Corner”) in a remote Andalusian valley. Set against wild landscapes of olive trees, mountain goats, and seasonal swallows, the book explores nature’s healing power, love, and connection. But buried scars from Coe’s childhood resurface, threatening the fragile stability they’ve built.
As they work to rebuild both their home and relationships, a single tragic event looms to unsettle everything. Little Ruins is a deeply moving memoir about trauma, hope, family, and the courage to heal through space, community and resilience.
