Global Association of Literary Festivals membership for Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival

Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, is happy to share that the Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival has joined the Global Association of Literary Festivals (GAOLF).

The Global Association of Literary Festivals is a member-run organisation made up of more than one hundred literary festivals from across the world. By becoming part of this international network, Gibraltar strengthens its cultural connections and gains access to a wider community of festival professionals. Membership offers opportunities for collaboration, shared learning and stronger international visibility.

This new affiliation places Gibraltar among a global group of festivals committed to promoting literature, fostering creative exchange and supporting the development of cultural events. Being part of GAOLF reinforces the festival’s ambition to engage with wider literary conversations and to continue growing its programme in step with international practice.

As preparations continue for the next edition of the festival, this membership supports Gibraltar’s ongoing efforts to expand its cultural reach and build meaningful connections beyond its borders.
